My mission is to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where people feel heard, understood and supported to navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences and create meaningful change. Through collaborative, individualised and evidence-informed counselling, I aim to empower each person to discover their strengths and become more whole, strong and authentically themselves.
The Becoming Practice is founded and led by Jo, a qualified counsellor passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, relationships, loss, change and personal growth. My approach is warm, genuine and collaborative. I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is feeling comfortable with the person sitting alongside you. I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, respected and accepted, while providing professional, evidence-informed counselling tailored to each person’s individual needs. The Becoming Practice was created from a belief that meaningful change is possible at every stage of life — and that with the right support, we can continue to grow, heal and become more authentically ourselves.
