Psychologist
I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Griffith University and a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, demonstrating my commitment to furthering my knowledge and expertise in the field. I have previously worked in the Department of Children, Youth Justice, and Multicultural Affairs, where I gained experience in child protection and welfare. Additionally, I have worked as a provisional psychologist in a private practice, providing therapy services to children and adults.
I believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their concerns. My approach focuses on establishing a safe and trusting relationship, prioritizing guidance and support throughout the therapeutic journey.
I offer therapy primarily incorporating Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These evidence-based modalities effectively address a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.
