Rhonda is a co-founder of PsychWell and a Somatic Psychotherapist with 17 years of experience supporting young people and adults through psychological distress and trauma. Her work spans community, mental health, rehabilitation, and medico-legal settings, and she holds a Masters in Gestalt Therapy, a Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Design from NIDA.
Rhonda is a Clinical Member of PACFA, a Full Member of ASORC, and an Approved Therapist under the SIRA Workers Compensation and CTP Scheme. She holds certifications in EMDR, Biofeedback, and Family Constellations Therapy.
Beyond her clinical life, Rhonda is a mother, a long-time meditator, and someone whose curiosity spans biohacking, fine art, design, and film — a life lived with intention and depth.
Rhonda believes that genuine well-being grows from authenticity and the cultivation of self-awareness. Her practice is deeply informed by Eastern philosophies that emphasise awareness and equanimity, woven together with neuroscience and contemporary therapeutic thinking.
She is passionate about empowering individuals to understand their own minds, develop self-regulation, and approach personal growth with compassion and curiosity. For Rhonda, therapy is not about fixing — it is about helping people come home to themselves.
Rhonda brings 17 years of clinical experience across diverse settings including community mental health, rehabilitation, and medico-legal contexts. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities and she maintains active membership with PACFA and ASORC, upholding the professional and ethical standards each body requires.
As an Approved Therapist under the SIRA scheme, Rhonda is also equipped to support clients navigating workers compensation and CTP pathways — ensuring continuity and quality of care across complex and often high-stakes circumstances.
Rhonda's approach is relational, somatic, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She draws on a broad suite of evidence-based modalities, including:
• Gestalt Therapy
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Somatic and Breathing Techniques
