Clinical Psychologist at Sleep Matters Perth
I completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Western Australia in 2004. Since then, I have worked in a variety of diverse settings such as Perth Clinic, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital & private practice. I have recently returned to practice after taking some time out to parent full-time. I enjoy working with all ages and respect the courage it takes for a person to participate in therapy.
I believe the therapy environment can offer a unique space to share concerns that we cannot do anywhere else, and a place to feel truly listened to and understood. I work collaboratively to develop a recovery plan that considers each individual's unique personality, needs, and life circumstances.
I draw on a range of evidenced based approaches, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment and family systems models.
