Psychologist
I have been practicing since 1992, starting my career at the Pain Clinic at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where I introduced insight meditation to assist with the management of persistent pain. I now work solely in private practice via a video Telehealth platform, assisting clients with a range of presenting problems. My journey in psychology began with my Honours degree in 1986, followed by a Masters Degree in clinical psychology in 1991.
I believe in the transformative power of mindfulness practices and cognitive strategies to help individuals manage their mental health challenges. My approach focuses on developing self-understanding and improving relationships with oneself and others.
I offer a range of services including anger management, chronic disease management, grief and loss counseling, and PTSD treatment. My therapeutic approach integrates CBT and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.
