Psychologist
I began my professional journey as a secondary school English teacher, where I discovered my passion for supporting student wellbeing. This led me to pursue psychology studies at the University of Melbourne. I have gained valuable experience in diverse mental health settings, including community mental health and clinical research environments. I established Garden Path Psychology in 2021 to provide additional support to the community.
I practice from an anti-colonial framework, acknowledging the ongoing impacts of systemic oppression on community health and well-being. I believe in safety, liberation, and self-determination for all people, which is core to my work in therapy.
I offer a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, self-compassion, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
