I’m a trauma-informed counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults through online therapy across Australia. My background includes supporting clients with anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related difficulties, self-esteem issues, burnout, identity concerns, and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
My work is especially suited to people who may look capable on the outside but feel under pressure internally. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning in daily life, yet still struggle with overthinking, emotional regulation, relationship patterns, self-criticism, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
I aim to offer therapy that is both grounded and effective. My style is warm, thoughtful, and practical. I value depth, but I also believe therapy should help people create real movement in their lives, not just insight for insight’s sake.
I draw on an integrative framework and tailor therapy to the individual, rather than forcing people into a one-size-fits-all model. Where appropriate, I incorporate mind-body awareness, nervous system regulation, and practical tools that help clients better understand their patterns and respond to themselves differently.
I provide a space where clients can slow down, reflect honestly, and build greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.
I believe good therapy should help people feel more connected to themselves, not more dependent on therapy itself.
My philosophy is grounded in the idea that people make sense in context. Symptoms, behaviours, and coping patterns usually develop for a reason, even when they are no longer serving the person well. Rather than approaching people as problems to be fixed, I aim to understand the protective strategies, emotional experiences, and life circumstances shaping what they are going through.
I value therapy that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and psychologically rigorous, while still being practical and relevant to real life. My vision is to provide care that helps clients build deeper self-awareness, greater emotional stability, and a stronger capacity to navigate pressure, relationships, and change.
I am particularly passionate about supporting people who are functioning on the outside but carrying significant stress internally. These clients are often overlooked because they appear “fine,” yet may be exhausted, dysregulated, disconnected, or quietly struggling.
Ultimately, I want therapy to be a place where clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to create lasting change.
I am committed to providing ethical, client-centred, and trauma-informed care. Quality provision, to me, means creating a therapeutic experience that is safe, consistent, responsive, and tailored to the individual’s needs.
I work within the scope of my training, professional membership, and ethical responsibilities, and I value ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and clinical supervision as essential parts of maintaining high standards of care. I believe quality therapy requires both strong relational skills and sound clinical judgement.
In practice, this means taking the time to understand each client’s history, goals, strengths, and current challenges, while also remaining attentive to risk, suitability for telehealth, and when referral or additional support may be needed. I aim to communicate clearly, maintain appropriate boundaries, and provide a therapeutic space that feels respectful, reliable, and non-judgemental.
I also value feedback and responsiveness in the therapeutic process. Good care is not static. It involves noticing what is helping, what may need adjustment, and how therapy can best support meaningful progress over time.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centred. I tailor therapy to the individual, drawing from different modalities (i.e. mindfulness-based, strength-based, CBT, DBT, attachment informed, psychodynamic, somatic) depending on the client’s needs, goals, and presenting concerns.
My work is informed by psychotherapy, nervous system-informed practice, parts-based exploration, emotion-focused work, motivational interviewing, and practical strategies for emotional regulation and self-awareness. Where appropriate, I also integrate mind-body and somatic principles to help clients better understand the link between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physiological responses.
I tend to work well with clients who want more than surface-level coping strategies. Many are looking to better understand recurring patterns, build emotional resilience, improve relationships, reduce anxiety, strengthen self-worth, or feel more grounded and effective in daily life.
My style is collaborative and engaged. I aim to balance insight with practical application, so therapy feels meaningful but also useful. Sessions are adapted to the pace and readiness of the client, with the goal of helping them develop greater clarity, stability, and confidence in how they move through life.
