Clinical Psychologist at Robina Therapy
I am a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the treatment of complex adult psychological problems, including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, personality disorders, substance misuse, and relational difficulties. I completed my undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tehran before migrating to Australia in 2006. I went on to complete a Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). My doctoral research focused on understanding the mechanisms of change in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
I believe in a culturally informed and individualized approach to care, integrating psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and experiential principles to support lasting therapeutic change.
I offer psychotherapy in both English and Farsi (Persian), utilizing evidence-based, depth-oriented, and person-centred psychotherapy techniques.
