Psychologist
I have been practicing for over 15 years and have a strong focus on the brain-gut connection. I graduated with a PhD in 2023 from Swinburne University, where I explored the impact of psychosocial processes on the quality of life in individuals with inflammatory bowel disease. My journey into psychology was deeply personal, leading me to support individuals with gastrointestinal conditions and eating disorders.
I believe in a biopsychosocial approach to therapy, focusing on the intricate link between the brain and gut. My goal is to improve the quality of life for my clients by addressing both psychological and physiological aspects of their conditions.
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches including Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Family Based Therapy. My practice is tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, particularly those dealing with gut-related issues.
