I am a qualified counsellor and an Australian Counselling Association member, offering online and in-person counselling to individuals, couples and adolescents. I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can speak openly about what they are experiencing. I work collaboratively with each client, tailoring counselling to their individual needs, circumstances and goals.
I believe meaningful change begins when people feel safe, heard and respected. My aim is to provide compassionate support that helps clients better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences and move towards positive change. I want each client to feel accepted as they are and supported to make choices that reflect their needs, values and goals.
I am committed to providing ethical, confidential and evidence-informed counselling that respects each client’s individual needs, background and experiences. I maintain clear professional boundaries, regularly review clients’ goals and progress, and adapt my approach where needed. I also engage in professional supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains safe, reflective and aligned with current counselling standards.
My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed and collaborative. Depending on each client’s needs, I may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness and emotion-focused approaches. Rather than using the same method for everyone, I work with clients to identify an approach that feels comfortable, practical and meaningful for them.
