I have been practicing for almost 30 years and have worked in both the private and public sectors across Sydney. I completed my undergraduate degree at UNSW and my clinical masters at Macquarie University, with specialist training in family therapy. My career began in the Acute Psychiatric Ward at Nepean Hospital, followed by work in community health and as a Clinical Team Leader at an adolescent service in Bondi Beach. I have developed a strong focus on working with adolescents, their families, and adults in my private practice.
I believe that the human psyche is incredibly complex, and many people today are seeking quick fixes. I aim to work with my patients at a deeper level to understand and resolve the complex aspects of emotional distress, rather than relying solely on medication or brief therapy.
I offer a psychodynamic approach to therapy, working with adolescents and adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, marital distress, grief and loss, parenting issues, and eating disorders.
