Psychologist
I began my journey to become a clinical psychologist due to a burning desire to help people because I know how painful it can be to struggle and no one notices. Perhaps it might be cliche, but I've always been a 'helper'. As a self-professed nerd, I began reading books on the human body and mind from the age of 12 and the moment I picked up my first psychology textbook, I fell in love. That passion is still going strong and perhaps even grown after many years seeing my clients flourish and become who they were always meant to be. I believe that we can only teach and help from what we know.
I believe that healing is not just about addressing symptoms but about understanding the root causes of what’s holding you back. My approach focuses on building a deep relationship where clients feel seen and understood.
I take a mixed approach to therapy, drawing from Attachment research, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Compassion and Trauma informed therapies and Strength based or Positive Psychology Frameworks.
