Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological care that helps people feel understood, empowered, and supported. We believe therapy should be a collaborative journey, creating a safe space where you can build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Calm Sanctuary Psychology is a boutique practice founded by Registered Psychologist Beth. Rather than a large clinic, you'll receive personalised care from a psychologist who takes the time to understand your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs, with a strong commitment to providing ethical, evidence-based care in a warm and supportive environment.
I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches to provide care that is both practical and meaningful. Depending on your goals, treatment may incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Parts work, mindfulness, and attachment-informed approaches.

I believe everyone should have access to quality psychological care. To help improve accessibility, I offer a limited number of bulk-billed and reduced-fee (sliding scale) appointments for eligible clients, subject to availability. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss the available options.
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may incur the full session fee. I understand that emergencies can happen, and these will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Standard appointments are 50 minutes in duration, allowing time for clinical documentation and treatment planning. Additional services requested outside of appointments, such as reports, letters, forms, phone consultations, or liaison with other professionals, may attract additional fees. Any applicable fees will always be discussed with you beforehand, and no additional work will be undertaken without your agreement.
